is to provide healing for all people for the traumas experienced from prejudice, discrimination, violence, torture, hate crimes, war and homelessness....
and to achieve increased peace within our communities
by releasing our conscious and unconscious prejudices toward people of other cultures, races, religions, politics,
sexual preferences and economic status
with guided healing meditations

Important Dates

January is the anniversary month of
the Emancipation Proclomation,
an act of Congress that provided for the freeing of slaves in most of the southern states in 1862
by President Abraham Lincoln.
Slavery was abolished in all states with the
13th Amendment in December 1865.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day
because the last concentration camp to be liberated was Auschwitz-Birkenau on this date
